- Work on revising video for communication to public
- Review of all prior results from meetings and sharing sessions at building level during 2008-09
- Obtain input from faculty, staff, PTSA and students on the questions raised below and then decide:
- Which two pillars take precedence for 2009-10 school year?
- Next two pillars for 2010-11 school year?
- Final pillar for 2011-12 school year
- This does not supplant school focus on all activities supporting the four pillars; but it singles out one or two special action plans for school commitment
- Elementary schools may wish to partner in preparation for configuration, or keep configuration in mind as they plan for 2010 and beyond
September through June – principal’s biweekly reports will identify the pillar(s) that are supported by the events reported
September through December – each BLT will formulate action plan:
- Backwards design: what will be the product of the action plan? What will it look like?
- How will we know that the goal is completed?
- Who will be responsible for what aspects of the plan?
- What is the timeline?
December – each BLT approves their plan and communicates it to all school stakeholders in writing through print, website
January through March – proceed with timeline and assess progress
- What has been accomplished for each action plan?
- Principals and Superintendent communicate progress to public
April through June – proceed with timeline and assess progress
- What has been accomplished for each action plan?
- Principals and Superintendent communicate progress to public
July and beyond – the action plans for the first two pillars continue – especially if an ongoing program is created – the cycle then begins for the next two priority pillars
