Hello, my name is Heather Berardo. I have a strong background in experiential-based learning, and I believe that students learn best by doing. Providing hands-on opportunities for learning is a continual goal in my classroom. Learning should be creative, thought provoking, and interactive. Building a community through creating a supportive, respectful classroom environment is extremely important to me as well. Meaningful learning can only take place when students feel comfortable enough to take chances and learn from their mistakes.
